The National park of Cinque Terre was declared a UNESCO world environmental and cultural heritage site.

In fact, it offers environmental and cultural peculiarities to safeguard and protect, such as its sheer coasts, the cliffs hanging on the sea with lots of lovely bays and beaches to discover, the grapevine terraces, the characteristic ancient rural buildings, the medieval suburbs, sanctuaries, panoramic paths on the sea and on slopes.

The landscape is characterized by rocks which belong to different ages and have different origins, and there are no plains. Here it is possible to admire a high and jagged coastline, and several caves created by the sea, the few sandy and pebbly beaches were the result of stony debrises of waterways or landslides.

The National Park of Cinque Terre, with its mild climate is also a perfect location for several fauna species, which here live and reproduce.

Obviously, no visit to the National Park of Cinque Terre would be complete without takng a look at the five lovely villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Manarola.

In addition to all these precious treasures, here you will find the prestigious Ligurian wines, fresh fish, an excellent cuisine and many traditional crafts, where the real value of these places is hidden.
